The mission of EPLC is to encourage the development and implementation of effective state-level education policies to improve student learning in grades P-12, increase the effective operation of schools, and enhance educational opportunities for citizens of all ages.
You can help us continue to make a difference!
Our work with the Pennsylvania School Funding Campaign is an important voice for Pennsylvania’s students who need more equitable and adequate state funding support.
Our work to form a new Pennsylvania Arts Education Network will help to build public and policymaker support for arts education at a critical time when policy decisions in Harrisburg and school districts are denying students valuable arts education opportunities.
Thousands of Pennsylvanians each year attend EPLC’s policy forums, and the annual Education Finance Symposium and annual Arts and Education Symposium – or watch them at home on PCN or the internet.
Every year, many others complete our leadership programs, advocacy workshops, and legislative and school board candidate workshops better prepared to be effective advocates and community leaders serving Pennsylvania’s children and students of all ages.
Thousands also rely on our free weekly policy newsletter, our website, and other information resources as their primary source of information about what is happening with state education policy issues.
Ultimately, the work of EPLC benefits students and all Pennsylvanians who care about an educated citizenry and an educated workforce.
Thank you! We appreciate your support!
