As part of 2010-2011 budget package, the legislature did not enact changes to the state’s School Code.  However, some provisions related to education were included in Senate Bill 1042 that amends the state Fiscal Code (Act 46 of 2010).

House Bill 2279
Provide for the FY 2010-11 state budget, including funding for the Department of Education, PHEAA, community colleges and state-owned universities

House Bill 2292
Appropriates $333.863 million (including $15.791 million in ARRA funds) to Penn State University for FY 2010-11

House Bill 2293
Appropriates $167.995 million (including $7.505 million in ARRA funds) to the University of Pittsburgh for FY 2010-11

House Bill 2294
Appropriates $172.737 million (including $ 7.763 million in ARRA funds) to Temple University for FY 2010-11

House Bill 2295
Appropriates $13.782 million (including $0.159 million in ARRA funds) to Lincoln University for FY 2010-11

House Bill 2296
Appropriates $30.5 million to the University of Pennsylvania ($30 million to support Veterinary Activities and $0.5 million for the Center for Infectious Diseases) for FY 2010-11

House Bill 2283
Provides for the operating expenses of the Public School Employees’ Retirement Fund for FY 2010-11
