As Managing Director for Public Financial Management, Inc., Dave is responsible for the administration of the Pennsylvania Local Government Investment Trust (PLGIT), a $3.5 billion dollar investment program for Pennsylvania school districts and local governments. From 1986 to 1996, he served as the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials and prior to that was Director of Fiscal Administration in the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Sallack has over 20 years of experience in education finance and budgeting, including eight years as a supervising analyst in the Governor’s Budget Office and nine years as a trustee and officer of a pooled investment program for Pennsylvania Schools. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and Economics and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
