Mark DiRocco

Since January 2017, Mark DiRocco has served as the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators. He had previously served as a public school educator for 38 years and an administrator for 33 years in four different school districts. He held a number of administrative positions in the Lewisburg Area School District over a twenty-two year period including Middle School Principal; Secondary Principal; Assistant Superintendent; and Superintendent. Mark has also served as an adjunct professor at Bucknell University and Immaculata University.

Mark served as a member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators Legislative Committee and has testified on several educational issues at the Pennsylvania State Capitol. In 2006 Mark received the Tech-Savvy Superintendent’s Award from eSchool News as one of the top ten educational executives in the nation noted for their leadership and vision in the area of educational technology. In 2010 and 2016 he was named the “Educator of the Year” by Economics Pennsylvania. In 2015 he received the Distinguished Educator Award by the Alumni Society of Honors at Mansfield University, and was selected as the 2016 Pennsylvania Superintendent of the Year.
