Focus on Education Sponsorship Opportunities

EPLC’s monthly show on PCN – Focus on Education – has been produced since 2013 and is intended to inform a Pennsylvania audience about significant current and emerging education issues. The show is moderated by host Ron Cowell of EPLC and includes guests who are education, community and policy leaders. Topics include a broad range of subjects from early education to K-12 to postsecondary education.

Guests in 2017 have included Franklin & Marshall College Poll Director Dr. G. Terry Madonna; PA Secretary of Education Pedro Rivera; Budget Secretary Randy Albright; education leaders in the State Legislature; and leaders of statewide education organizations representing parents, teachers, boards, principals, school administrators, school business officials, charter schools, teacher educators, career and technical education, early education, higher education, education advocacy groups, and more.

The monthly show is an opportunity to get the name of your school, organization or cause in front of a statewide audience that has an interest in education issues.

Each sponsor will have:
  • Your sponsorship acknowledged during the show.
  • Name of school, organization or cause (or your logo) exhibited for 15 seconds as a billboard.
  • A 15-second voiceover message the identifies your name, a brief description, and your website/phone number for more information.

Focus on Education is broadcast usually on the 2nd Sunday (subject to change of schedule by PCN) of each month February to July and September to December), and then re-broadcast at the discretion of PCN two or three additional times each month. In addition, every show (including your “ad”) is archived and available “on demand” on the EPLC web site (eplc.org). Sponsorships are available for five or ten programs.

$140 per show – five months sponsorship (Total $700)
$125 per show – ten months sponsorship (Total $1,250)
