Edward Donley – Ronald Cowell Leadership Award
About the Award
The Edward Donley Education Policy Leadership Award was established in 2004 by the Board of Directors of The Education Policy and Leadership Center and was presented each year by EPLC at its annual Awards Event. The award was named after its first recipient, Edward Donley, the founding chair of the EPLC Board of Directors. In 2023, the EPLC Board of Directors, with support from the Donley family, unanimously approved changing the name of the award to the Edward Donley – Ronald Cowell Leadership Award, in honor of EPLC’s founder, Ronald Cowell. Ron continues to serve as EPLC’s Founder and Senior Fellow. His bio can be found under the “Leaders” section of this website.
